BEST WISHES FOR THE NEW YEAR

Dear Member,
most of you will meanwhile have returned from the X-mas and New Year break. On behalf of the Committee I would like to extend best wishes to you and your families for a healthy, peaceful and prosperous New Year 2010.
I would also like to inform you that 2009 was my last full year as GBA Secretary. For the last 10 years I have had the pleasure to carry out the function of GBA Secretary, but now it is time to move on. During my recent trip to Germany the day-to-day secretarial work was already carried out very ably by our Assistant Secretary Mr. Ton van Everdink, and I would like to thank him for stepping in. Please extend your co-operation and support to him, as you did to me.
As I have meanwhile shifted my place of residence to the Coast, I have decided not to stand again for re-election in 2010. I wish you all well. When you pass through Vipingo, give me a call or just drop in.
